Five recurring scenarios that demand mobile notarization
(1) Hospitalized executives signing share-transfer documents at Bumrungrad, Samitivej or BNH after sudden illness — we work with the attending physician's note confirming the patient is alert and cognitively able to consent; we attend ICU, CCU and surgical wards with personal protective gear and one-attorney-at-a-time protocols. (2) Five-star hotel guests on short Bangkok layovers — Mandarin Oriental, Peninsula, St Regis, Park Hyatt, Anantara Siam, Sofitel So and others — for whom a 25-minute lobby meeting beats a 4-hour round trip to a law office. (3) Senior expats with mobility limitations — wheelchair, walker, post-surgery — at condos in Asoke, Phrom Phong, Thong Lo and Ekkamai. (4) Detained or remanded signers at the Bangkok Remand Prison or Klong Prem who need to sign POAs for family lawyers or property — we coordinate with the prison's legal-visit unit and present credentials at the registration desk. (5) Airport-transit clients who must sign and have the document MFA-legalized before the connecting flight — we attend Suvarnabhumi Plaza Premium Lounge and Concourse G, with same-day MFA Express add-on for ฿800/page.
What the mobile attorney brings to the meeting
- Embossed notarial seal (raised, dry-impression) plus the firm's red-ink stamp and unique attorney code.
- The Notarial Register volume (or its certified extract pages) where the act will be entered with a sequential number; the same number prints on the certificate so foreign embassies can verify back to our register.
- Pre-printed blank Acknowledgment, Jurat, Certified True Copy and Witness certificates in English, Thai, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Mandarin to match the destination authority.
- An ID-verification camera (small DSLR with macro) to photograph the passport photo page next to the signer's face; the photo is added to the firm's encrypted client file and never shared externally.
- A tablet linked to the MFA Legalization Division's online queue — we can lock in a same-day or next-morning MFA slot before leaving the meeting.
- Black ballpoint and fineliner pens (blue and fountain-pen ink are not accepted by some embassies and most Thai government offices).
Booking, pricing and time slots
Mobile attorney slots run Monday–Saturday 08:00–20:00 with a 1-hour minimum booking. Same-day requests by 11:00 a.m. typically secure an afternoon slot; same-day requests after 17:00 may require a ฿1,500 emergency surcharge. Bookings via LINE @thainotary or the contact form receive an attorney-assignment confirmation within 30 minutes during business hours. Pricing is the notarial-act fee (฿1,500–฿4,500 per act depending on type) PLUS the travel surcharge by zone PLUS optional MFA Express (฿800/page same-day) and embassy-legalization (varies by destination). A typical mobile signature notarization at an Asoke hotel for a US affidavit, bundled with MFA Same-Day and US Embassy authentication delivery, totals ฿7,800 and clears in 36 hours.
Hospital and prison notarization — special protocols
- Bumrungrad and Samitivej — the firm's pre-approved attorney is on the hospitals' external-visitor list; check-in at concierge with passport and bar-association ID, escort to patient room arranged by case nurse.
- Bangkok Hospital and BNH — patient or family must submit a notarial-visit request at the patient-relations desk 2 hours in advance.
- Praram 9 and MedPark — open-access for legal visitors during 09:00–20:00; attorney signs the legal-visit log at security.
- Bangkok Remand Prison and Klong Prem — request legal-visit slot through the prison registration office 1 working day in advance; family must provide the case file number; visit limited to 45 minutes inside legal-counsel room, no electronic devices, paper and pen only.
- Suvarnabhumi airport airside — attorney must enter via the staff gate with airport ID coordination; recommend booking 4+ hours in advance and arriving 90 minutes before the meeting.

CBD zone (Silom, Sathorn, Ratchaprasong, Asoke, Nana, Phloen Chit, Phrom Phong, Thong Lo, Ekkamai) — commute 25–55 minutes from Lat Phrao base, surcharge ฿1,500. Inner suburbs (Lat Phrao, Ramkhamhaeng, Bang Kapi, Huai Khwang, Din Daeng, Bang Sue, Chatuchak) — 15–35 minutes, surcharge ฿1,200. Outer Bangkok (Min Buri, Lat Krabang, Bang Na outer, Bang Khen, Phasi Charoen, Thon Buri) — 45–80 minutes, surcharge ฿2,800. Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang — 50–90 minutes, surcharge ฿4,500 (includes airport parking). Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Prakan, Samut Sakhon, Nakhon Pathom — 60–120 minutes, surcharge ฿3,500–฿5,500 by sub-district.
